  1. Having spent the past week, for the third time, with Aunt Frances in Oxford, MS, I am deeply moved by this message of detachment. Frances, 92, is in hospice care at home. Her appetite is good, her mind clear, and she knows everybody. Problem is her heart and lungs which has rendered her bedridden. She has been a godly person, very active in her Methodist church always, and through the years has put thousands of miles on her car taking care of extended family. Now, she is with us in many ways, but grieves that she can no longer help herself or others. I love her so much. She is my last and closest aunt ever. Time with her in these last days is precious. I continue to express my gratitude for her love and care and remind her of all she done for so many… Thank you Barkley for your message of encouragement.
